My Story.
I’m starting over. Sort of.

I’ve been a practicing attorney for twenty years. By most measures, I’ve built a successful and comfortable career. But I’m not fulfilled. So, I’m starting something new. I am launching a sports management firm that combines my background in sports and law with my desire to educate and serve others.

After twenty years in the courtroom — handling appeals, complex litigation, oral arguments in the Ninth Circuit, and bringing cases before the U.S. Supreme Court — I understand the power of protecting what matters most to clients. But before the litigation and verdicts, I was a Lobo, lacing ‘em up for UNM basketball, learning teamwork, resilience, and what it means to bet on yourself. Sports and practicing law shaped my discipline, my perspective, and my drive.
But now I’m pivoting. I’m building something new to educate and empower athletes.

As college sports enters a new era, it’s time to merge my background in sports and law to guide student-athletes facing once-in-a-generation choices. NIL and revenue-sharing changed the landscape of college athletics, creating life-changing opportunities, but also real risks.

That’s where I come in.

Through my content, hands-on workshops, and personal representation, I help athletes and their families understand the new rules, take advantage of the right deals, and build their legacy with confidence. Whether in a campus auditorium or a one-on-one call, I work to ensure every athlete knows their rights and their value to safely navigate the business of college sports.

This is more than my next chapter. It’s my chance to help the next generation write theirs.
My Team.
It’s just me here — no big staff, no assistants running around with clipboards. So, I wear all the hats: the attorney who handles the fine print, the writer who makes the copy, the “talent” in front of the camera, and the editor cleaning up the mess afterward. One guy, four jobs (more, actually) — but all focused on one mission: to educate and empower athletes.
